VIQU has partnered with a leading professional services organisation to recruit an Infrastructure Endpoint Engineer to manage and secure the organisation’s endpoint estate. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in modernising endpoint management, ensuring devices are configured, maintained, and protected to the highest standards across the business.

Key Responsibilities of the Infrastructure Endpoint Engineer:

  • Manage endpoint devices using Microsoft SCCM (Configuration Manager) and Intune.
  • Oversee the imaging process for laptops, desktops, and other endpoint devices.
  • Deploy and manage applications across the endpoint estate.
  • Administer and maintain the patching process to ensure timely updates and compliance.
  • Offer recommendations and potential enhancements to current solutions, aligning them with established best practices.
  • Collaborate with the security team to implement secure configurations, device hardening, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Monitor endpoint health, compliance, and performance, proactively addressing issues.
  • Maintain accurate documentation for endpoint management processes and configurations.
  • Provide technical support and escalation for endpoint-related incidents.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in endpoint management and security.

Key Requirements of the Infrastructure Endpoint Engineer:

  • Proven experience in endpoint management using SCCM/Configuration Manager and Intune.
  • Strong understanding of Windows operating systems and device imaging.
  • Experience with application packaging, deployment, and lifecycle management.
  • Knowledge of patch management processes and tools, and experienced in improving the current processes.
  • Familiarity with security best practices for endpoint hardening and compliance.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Desired Certifications: Microsoft 365 Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Security, Compliance, and Identity Fundamentals (or equivalent). ITIL Foundation, CompTIA Security+ (or equivalent).
