Infrastructure Engineer
Infrastructure Engineer – 6-month contract – Nutanix – Remote
We have a large utilities customer who are currently seeking an experienced Infrastructure Engineer with hands-on experience using and configuring Nutanix. The successful Infrastructure Engineer will be working remotely with occasional travel to Worthing.
Infrastructure Engineer Key Skills & Experience:
- Must have Nutanix experience.
- Must have strong knowledge of VMware mechanics.
- Proven experience in enterprise Wintel Server administration.
- Experience supporting both BAU and project-based workloads.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across teams.
Infrastructure Engineer responsibilities:
- Deploy and Support scalable Nutanix infrastructure solutions
- Manage and optimize VMware virtual environments
- Deliver BAU support across core infrastructure platforms, ensuring stability, performance, and service availability.
- Lead and contribute to infrastructure projects, including upgrades, deployments, and enhancements within a Nutanix.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing technical expertise and ensuring smooth delivery of infrastructure solutions.
The Successful Candidate must be willing to commute to Worthing on an ad hoc basis.
