Network Support Engineer
Support Engineer – London (Hybrid, 2–3 days office-based) Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 + On call (£10,000 - £12,000)Company: Global Media Technology Provider
Join a global tech company shaping how the world’s biggest studios and production houses connect and collaborate. This Support Engineer role sits at the heart of their London-based operations, delivering high-performance networking and media services to major names across film, TV, and streaming.
Key Responsibilities

Install, configure, and maintain network and platform equipment within client sites and the company’s private global media network

Troubleshoot and resolve complex connectivity and platform issues, driving first-time fixes and root-cause analysis

Provide responsive, customer-focused support via phone and email, meeting SLAs and ensuring high satisfaction

Collaborate with engineering and development teams on escalations, provisioning projects, and continuous improvement initiatives

Maintain documentation, knowledge bases, and configuration standards

Participate in the 24/7 on-call rota (with additional pay) and occasional client visits
Key Requirements
-
1–2 years’ experience in a technical support or network engineering role
-
Solid grasp of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, VLANs, routing protocols like BGP/OSPF/ISIS, MPLS)
-
Hands-on experience with enterprise networking equipment — Fortinet, Cisco, Arista, Juniper, Palo Alto, HP, or Dell

Exposure to firewall configuration and IPsec VPN setup

Basic Linux/Unix administration; Python scripting desirable

Relevant certifications (CCNA, Network+, etc.) preferred

Strong communication, troubleshooting, and multitasking skills

Must have the right to work in the UK
