Payments Lead (Oracle Fusion) Leicester – 12 month FTC £70,000 VIQU have partnered with a leading UK retailer to recruit an experienced Payments Lead. You will be joining a high-profile Oracle Fusion ERP implementation programme. This successful Orace Fusion Payments Lead will focus on Accounts Payable, Cash Management and Payment processes, supporting the transition from legacy finance systems to Oracle Fusion and ensuring compliance with standards such as ISO 20022.

Key Responsibilities of the Oracle Fusion Payments Lead

• Document design decisions, business processes, and configuration workbooks.
• Support business impact assessments and test planning.
• Prepare and review integration design documents.
• Collaborate with Data Migration, Reporting, and Testing teams.
• Contribute to training materials, change management, and business adoption.
• Participate in cutover planning and provide post-go-live support.
• Identify risks and ensure appropriate controls are built into processes.

Key Requirements of the Oracle Fusion Payments Lead

• Strong understanding of Accounts Payable, Cash Management, and Payments.
• Familiarity with banking standards (ISO 20022).
• Experience delivering change with a focus on controls and automation.
• Prior experience with a large ERP system, ideally Oracle Fusion.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams, work to deadlines, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint or Google Suite for analysis and presentations.
