Storage Engineer – Pure Storage – Security Cleared
6-Month Contract | London / Hybrid – Security Cleared
We’re looking for an experienced Storage Consultant to lead enterprise data migrations from legacy platforms to Pure Storage. This is a hands-on contract role focused on delivering secure, zero-data-loss migrations with minimal downtime.
The Storage Consultant
- Ideally holding Live Security Clearance
- Design and deliver end-to-end migrations across block, file (NAS), and object storage
- Execute migrations using Pure Storage tools (Cirrus, VPLEX) and VMware Storage vMotion
- Manage NAS namespace consistency and backup migrations (Commvault or similar)
- Validate data integrity and performance post-migration
- Act as the Pure Storage Specialist, advising stakeholders and sharing best practice
- Produce clear migration documentation and handover to internal teams
Storage Engineer experience:
- Strong hands-on experience with Pure Storage FlashArray / Evergreen
- Proven background in SAN/NAS migrations and VMware environments
- Solid understanding of NFS, SMB/CIFS, permissions, and authentication
- Pure Certified Migration Specialist (preferred)
This role would suit a Storage Engineer, Storage Consultant, Storage SME, Storage Specialist
The Storage Specialist is required onsite, 2 days per week or 40% of your time each Month in Central London.
