Azure Cloud Engineer
Azure Cloud Engineer – Outside IR35 - Remote
A client is looking for an experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to focus on the configuration of API Management solution.
The successful Azure Engineer will be responsible for supporting the deployment and configuration of Azure API management including Networking and security services, working closely with internal infrastructure and application team.
In order to be suitable, you must be able to demonstrate hands on experience with the API Management solution.
Key Responsibilities of the Azure Cloud Engineer:
- Implement and maintain Azure API Management (APIM).
- Configure and manage Azure firewall, including policies and rule collections as part of the APIM implementation
- Deploy and support Azure Virtual Networks (VNets), Network Security Groups, Route Tables and Private Endpoints.
- Maintain Azure Application Gateway and Web Application Firewall (WAF)
- Work closely with development, infrastructure and security teams to delivery Azure services.
- Produce technical documentation and support knowledge transfer when required.
Essential Skills for the Azure Cloud Engineer:
- Must have strong experience implementing and supporting Azure API Management (APIM)
- Experience configuring and managing traffic flow using Azure Firewall.
- Must have strong understanding of VNets, VNet peering and NSGs
- Have experience implementing Azure Application Gateway and Web Application Firewall (WAF)
- Experience using Azure DevOps is desirable but not essential.
The Successful Azure Cloud Engineer will work remotely.
