VIQU have partnered with a leading UK retailer to recruit an experienced Payments Lead. You will be joining a high-profile Oracle Fusion ERP implementation programme. This successful Orace Fusion Payments Lead will focus on Accounts Payable, Cash Management and Payment processes, supporting the transition from Legacy finance systems to Oracle Fusion and ensuring compliance with standards such as ISO 20022.

Key Responsibilities of the Oracle Fusion Payments Lead

• Design and implement Oracle Fusion payment workflows (ISO 20022 compliant, controlled, automated)
• Document process designs, decisions, and configurations
• Support business impact assessments, integrations, data migration, and reporting
• Contribute to test planning, Scripting, and execution
• Work with Change/Adoption teams on training materials and delivery
• Support cutover and provide post-implementation warranty
• Identify risks and ensure appropriate controls
• Collaborate with AP, Banking, Supplier Onboarding, and Cash Management teams to align processes

Key Requirements of the Oracle Fusion Payments Lead

• Strong knowledge of Oracle SQM, Accounts Payable, and Payments.
• Familiarity with banking standards (ISO 20022).
• Experience delivering change with a focus on controls and automation.
• Prior experience with a large ERP system, ideally Oracle Fusion.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams, work to deadlines, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
• Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint or Google Suite for analysis and presentations.
