Role Description
Support vehicle-level system integration activities by collecting logs, flashing ECUs, and documenting standard procedures. The role involves hands-on work with vehicles and diagnostic tools to ensure smooth system validation and integration.
Responsibilities
- Collect logs from vehicles using standard diagnostic tools
- Flash and update ECU software using approved tools and procedures
- Monitor vehicle communication networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
- Identify and report issues with clear logs and observations
- Create and maintain step-by-step process documents (SOPs) for:
- Log collection
- ECU flashing
- Test execution
- Support system integration and validation activities
- Work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues
Must-Have Skills
- Basic knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN)
- Experience with ECU flashing and diagnostic tools
- Hands-on experience in vehicle testing or integration
- Ability to collect and interpret logs
- Good documentation skills (clear step-by-step writing)
- Basic debugging and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering
- 1–3 years of experience in the automotive industry
- Valid driving license (mandatory)
- Must have full right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship provided)
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
