Role Description

Support vehicle-level system integration activities by collecting logs, flashing ECUs, and documenting standard procedures. The role involves hands-on work with vehicles and diagnostic tools to ensure smooth system validation and integration.

Responsibilities

  • Collect logs from vehicles using standard diagnostic tools
  • Flash and update ECU software using approved tools and procedures
  • Monitor vehicle communication networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet)
  • Identify and report issues with clear logs and observations
  • Create and maintain step-by-step process documents (SOPs) for:
  • Log collection
  • ECU flashing
  • Test execution
  • Support system integration and validation activities
  • Work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues

Must-Have Skills

  • Basic knowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN)
  • Experience with ECU flashing and diagnostic tools
  • Hands-on experience in vehicle testing or integration
  • Ability to collect and interpret logs
  • Good documentation skills (clear step-by-step writing)
  • Basic debugging and problem-solving skills

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, or Automotive Engineering
  • 1–3 years of experience in the automotive industry
  • Valid driving license (mandatory)
  • Must have full right to work in the UK (no visa sponsorship provided)
  • Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills for working with cross-functional teams.
