Senior Test Engineer

A market-leading, international scientific instrument manufacturer is seeking an ambitious Test Engineer to join their team!  

As an integral part of the product development team, you will be responsible for end-to-end product testing of high-performance electro-mechanical instruments; from verification, validation to documentation. 

Additional responsibilities include: 

• Identify and investigate performance and software defects
• Testing and troubleshooting of new and existing systems
• Effective communication of complex data to other teams to streamline product development 

Experience required: 

• A degree in Engineering, Physics or equivalent  
• Hands on experience in product testing and reporting
• Ability to work well in a collaborative environment
• Knowledgeable in statistical analysis (Python experience is a plus!)
• Previous experience with high-end scientific equipment would be highly beneficial. 

The position will be offered on an initial 6-month contract basis, which is highly likely to be to be extended! If this sounds like the role for you then apply now!
