Apprentice MEP Coordinator/Revit Coordinator
You will be part of a team with a wealth of experience and knowledge to support your development in the understanding of MEP services coordination, taught how to use a variety of software from the likes of Autodesk and Trimble to produce accurate drawings and services models. At VTA we see in-house training as a priority not just a requirement.
Role
- Annotation of MEP services drawings.
- Incorporating comments received.
- Creating drawing sheets from scratch.
- Work with Engineers on updating schematics and 2D drawings.
- Clash detection of MEP services within the 3D environment.
This in time will progress to.
- Modelling of MEP services
- Updating MEP models to suit as installed services
- Coordination of MEP services in risers, corridors and ceiling voids
Training
- Apprenticeship with be one day per week at London South Bank Colleges.
- In house training sessions will be held once per week on specific topics.
- Site visits on a monthly basis.
- Online training courses by Autodesk
- A Level 4 qualification in Construction and Built Environment that meets the knowledge requirements of the standard and is approved by the Engineering Council as meeting the learning outcomes specified for EngTech at level 4
Apprentices with determination can expect to progress on to being a Lead Coordinator and in time with the right experience move on to Project Manager.

Qualifications
- 5 GCSEs including Maths and English GCSE or equivalent, grade 4-9 (Essential)
- Mathematics and preferably a Science in either Che A Level or equivalent, grade EEE (Essential)
- Level 3 in an Engineering or Construction BTEC or equivalent, grade Pass or above (Essential)
- Building Services Engineering Technician level 3 Other, grade Pass or above (Essential)
- T-level in Construction: Design Other, grade Pass or above (Essential)
