Data Engineer - Remote

Data Engineer – Up to £60,000 – Remote (UK)

We’re working with a consultancy that’s looking to hire an experienced Data Engineer to support and enhance production data platforms. This role is largely remote, with occasional travel to Scotland (around once a month – expenses fully covered).

You’ll be part of a BAU-focused data engineering function, responsible for building, maintaining, and supporting robust data pipelines and data assets in a production environment.

The Role

• Build and maintain data pipelines using Informatica IDMC (CDI)
• Develop and support data transformations and structures in Snowflake
• Investigate and resolve BAU incidents and defects
• Deliver approved service requests and platform enhancements
• Carry out unit testing, impact analysis, and technical validation
• Produce technical artefacts and maintain documentation
• Work within an Agile delivery environment using Jira
• Support estimation and delivery planning activities

What You’ll Bring

• 4–7 years’ experience in data engineering roles
• Strong hands-on experience with Snowflake
• Experience building pipelines using Informatica IDMC (CDI)
• Background supporting live/production data platforms
• Strong problem-solving and incident management capability
• Comfortable working in a structured BAU environment
