Data Engineer – Up to £70,000 + Bonus – Remote (Monthly Visit to Wigan)
I'm working with a growing organisation looking to hire an experienced Data Engineer to play a key role in building a modern Azure-based data platform from the ground up.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a business investing heavily in its data capabilities, where you'll be responsible for designing scalable data solutions, developing robust pipelines, and helping shape the future of the company's data strategy.
The Role- Design and build a modern Azure-based data platform
- Develop scalable ETL pipelines and data integrations
- Build and maintain cloud-based data warehouses
- Work closely with business stakeholders to deliver data-driven solutions
- Support data governance and best practices
- Help drive the organisation's data modernisation journey
- Strong SQL and Python experience
- Strong Azure Data Platform experience (ideally Microsoft Fabric)
- Data warehouse and ETL development experience
- Strong understanding of data modelling
- Power BI experience
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
- Up to £70,000
- Annual bonus (up to 10%)
- Remote working with just one visit to the Wigan office each month
