Data Project Manager – 6 months – £600 per day – Outside IR35

I’m working with a financial services organisation that’s delivering a major data platform upgrade and needs an experienced Data Project Manager to take ownership of the implementation. This is a hands-on role leading the rollout of a new Azure Fabric platform and ensuring the project lands smoothly across the business.

What You’ll Do

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of an Azure Fabric data platform
• Coordinate technical teams, stakeholders, and third-party partners
• Own planning, delivery, reporting, and governance
• Ensure data migration, pipelines, and platform components are delivered to standard
• Drive risk management, RAID processes, and overall project control

What You’ll Bring

• Strong background in data project delivery within financial services
• Proven experience managing cloud data platform projects (Azure essential)
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills
• Ability to bring structure, governance, and momentum to delivery
