PowerBI Developer - Remote
Power BI Engineer – £50,000 – Remote (UK)
We’re working with a consultancy that’s looking to hire an experienced Power BI Engineer to design, develop, and support reporting and low-code solutions across an enterprise environment. The role is predominantly remote, with occasional travel to Scotland (around once a month – expenses paid).
This role suits someone who enjoys building high-quality reporting solutions, has a strong eye for usability and performance, and is comfortable supporting live BI and Power Apps solutions.
The Role
- Develop and enhance Power BI reports, dashboards, and semantic models
- Build and support Power Apps solutions within agreed scope
- Resolve reporting and application incidents
- Optimise performance, usability, and visual consistency
- Apply agreed development and design standards
- Collaborate with Data Engineers to ensure data is fit for reporting
- Create wireframes and support UI/UX design within Power BI and Power Apps
- Carry out unit testing and produce delivery artefacts
- Work within an Agile environment using Jira
- Support estimation and delivery planning activities
What You’ll Bring
- 4–6 years’ experience delivering BI and low-code solutions
- Strong hands-on experience with Power BI
- Experience building and supporting Power Apps
- Good understanding of UI/UX principles within reporting tools
- Experience supporting enterprise reporting platforms
- Comfortable working in a BAU and delivery-focused environment
