Senior Data Engineer

Senior Data Engineer – £70,000–£80,000 – Hybrid (North West / Yorkshire)

We’re working with a growing organisation within the facilities management industry that’s investing heavily in its data platform and looking to hire a Senior Data Engineer.

This role will play a key part in building a greenfield data warehouse, helping the business bring together data from newly acquired companies and integrating multiple systems into a scalable data platform.

You’ll be joining at an exciting stage where data engineering is central to enabling better insights and decision-making across the organisation.

The Role

• Design and build a new cloud-based data warehouse
• Develop scalable data pipelines and data models
• Integrate data from newly acquired businesses and systems
• Work closely with analytics and business teams to enable data-driven decision making
• Support the evolution of the organisation’s modern data platform

What They’re Looking For

• Strong experience in data engineering
• Around 5 years experience with GCP (or strong AWS/Azure experience with interest in moving into GCP)
• Experience building or contributing to data warehouses
• Strong understanding of data integration and pipeline development
• Experience working with complex data environments or system integrations

• Hybrid working: Typically 1 day per week in the office (more during major projects)
