Location: Hybrid, London UK (1days/Week Onsite)
Duration: 6months+ Contract Inside IR35
Job Overview:
We are looking for a skilled Automation Tester with strong experience in Python and Pytest to support automation initiatives for a leading banking client. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with CosmosDB and Microsoft Azure, and a solid understanding of banking systems and processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Python and Pytest.
- Build and execute automation frameworks for API and backend testing.
- Validate data integrity and queries in CosmosDB.
- Work on cloud-based testing solutions within the Azure environment.
- Perform functional, regression, integration, and system testing.
- Collaborate with developers, DevOps, and business teams to ensure quality deliverables.
- Participate in CI/CD integration for automated test execution.
- Prepare test reports and maintain proper documentation.
Required Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience in Python automation.
- Experience with Pytest framework.
- Working knowledge of CosmosDB (querying and validation).
- Experience with Microsoft Azure (Azure DevOps, pipelines, cloud environments).
- Experience in API testing and backend validation.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
- Good knowledge of software testing lifecycle (STLC).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in Banking or Financial Services domain.
- Knowledge of REST APIs and tools like Postman.
- Experience with version control tools (Git).
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology
