Role- GCP Network Engineer
Location: Hybrid - 2 days onsite (Bristol, Leeds, Halifax, Manchester, Edinburgh)
Contract: 6 months (Inside IR35)
Role Overview
We're looking for an experienced GCP Network Engineer to design, build, and modernise enterprise-grade Google Cloud network infrastructure. You'll work within a cross-functional cloud platform team, enabling secure, scalable, and compliant cloud adoption using DevOps and IaC best practices.
Key Responsibilities

Design and manage GCP VDC network architectures

Configure VPCs, subnets, Firewalls, routing, and peering

Implement hybrid connectivity (Cloud VPN, Interconnect)

Build network infrastructure using Terraform/Terraform Cloud

Automate networking tasks with Python

Enforce GCP Organisation Policies and policy-as-code (Sentinel/OPA)

Integrate network deployments into CI/CD pipelines

Monitor, optimise, and troubleshoot GCP network environments
Essential Skills

Strong hands-on GCP networking experience

Expertise in hybrid connectivity

Terraform and Python for automation

CI/CD tooling experience (Jenkins, GitHub, Harness)

GCP certification (Professional Cloud Network Engineer preferred)
