Consultant Software Engineer (.NET/React/AWS)

We're looking for a Consultant Software Engineer to join a growing digital delivery consultancy, working within complex client technology environments across a range of applications, platforms and engineering projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for a mid-level engineer who enjoys working across different technology stacks, collaborating with client teams, and taking ownership of delivery from design through to production support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain modern applications using C#/.NET and React.
• Build and support REST APIs, Back End services and system integrations.
• Develop and maintain SQL solutions using PostgreSQL and/or SQL Server.
• Work across the full software development life cycle, from requirements through to deployment and production support.
• Develop cloud-native solutions using AWS.
• Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.
• Troubleshoot application, integration and infrastructure issues.

Essential Skills

• Strong commercial experience with C#/.NET.
• Experience building modern Front End applications using React.
• Strong SQL skills with PostgreSQL and/or SQL Server.
• Hands-on experience with AWS.
• Practical experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience developing REST APIs and system integrations.
• Good understanding of Git, CI/CD, automated testing and modern engineering practices.
• Experience working in Agile delivery environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to own technical deliverables through to completion.
