Full Stack Engineer

About Us and the Problem

We're building the best search for AI.

Search is becoming the core primitive for AI. How agents access content is one of the foundational questions of the next decade of software, and the product is where that becomes real for the people building on us. Every agent workflow, every reasoning system, every tool call needs context from high quality sources, but today's search infrastructure was built for a different era. We're building the stack that makes knowledge accessible to how agents actually work: content at scale, structured for reasoning, designed for deep research across thousands of sources. Information retrieval is in a renaissance. LLMs are changing not just what we need to build but how we build it, and we combine first-principles research with hard engineering to build the agentic knowledge layer for knowledge work.

What You'll Be Doing

Ship product surfaces end-to-end: From customer dashboards to internal tools, you own everything from design through deployment, and you move fast without letting quality slip.

Build with AI as a first-class primitive: Integrate LLM-driven workflows directly into the product: infrastructure for tool calls, agent runtimes, and user-facing AI-native interfaces that don't exist anywhere else yet.

Own the full stack: AWS, GCP, Next.js, Supabase, Clerk, Vercel are your domain. Frontend, backend, ML, and design are all in scope, and you're expected to be dangerous across all of them.

Work close to customers: As we lean into forward-deployed work, you'll sit near the people building on us, turn what they need into product, and articulate your own work clearly to a technical audience.

Make the product feel magical: The details that separate good products from great ones, the parts most engineers unfortunately miss.

Who You Are

A junior to mid-level full-stack engineer with 1-3 years shipping product to real users.

Strong in TypeScript and modern React.

Genuinely full-stack: you build UIs, design APIs, model data, write migrations, integrate third-party services, and reach into ML when the problem calls for it.

You've shipped product people actually use and iterated on it from real feedback, not just specs.

You care about UX, design taste, and how a product feels, not just whether it works.

Relentlessly resourceful. "I don't know how to do this" is the start of the problem, not the end of it. You find the answer, ship the thing, and move on.

A generalist with strong product instinct who wants real ownership over real surfaces and can communicate clearly, both internally and to customers.

Fluent with AI engineering tools like Claude Code and Codex, using them to multiply your output, raise the quality bar, and pick up new skills fast.

Bonus Points

Familiar with or experienced in building products for Financial Services/ Life Sciences/ Research.

Be cracked. (required actually)
