Role

This role will be responsible for evolving how the business understands and drives performance, shifting from traditional analytics towards a more commercial, insight-led partnering model. Working closely with senior leadership, the role will translate data into clear, actionable insight that directly impacts revenue, product performance, and strategic priorities.

Build and Lead the Performance & Insights Function

  • Establish and lead the newly created Performance & Insights function, setting clear vision, strategy and priorities aligned to our client’s strategic objectives.
  • Develop team members by strengthening both technical capability and commercial understanding.
  • Establish scalable processes, tools and ways of working that enable the Performance & Insights team to deliver high-quality insight.

Performance Leadership

  • Define how the company measures and understands business performance across the portfolio.
  • Establish and own the performance cadence, ensuring both high-frequency performance monitoring and longer-term trend analysis.
  • Lead the development and governance of key performance indicators and frameworks that support long-term strategy.
  • Provide a clear and consistent performance narrative that enables leadership to understand key trends, risks and opportunities.

Commercial Insight& Decision Support

  • Support critical business decision-making through actionable insight that improves product and commercial performance.
  • Assess the impact and return on investment of key product, marketing and commercial initiatives to inform future strategy and investment decisions.
  • Lead deep performance diagnostics to understand what is driving changes in business performance and where optimisation opportunities exist.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Influence

  • Co-lead the Data & Analytics community- ensure alignment across analytics, data science and data products.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with a wide range of stakeholders including FP&A, Data, Marketing and Strategy.
  • Partner with Data Engineering and Central Analytics teams to ensure analysts have access to reliable data, clear metric definitions and the tools required to deliver high-quality insight.
  • Promote the use of AI and emerging analytical tools to accelerate insight generation, in partnership with Data Science and Central Analytics teams.

Candidate

  • Proven experience leading analytics, insights, or performance teams within a fast-paced digital or consumer business
  • Background in iGaming / Sports betting or digital consumer platforms strongly preferred.
  • Experience in influencing senior leadership and driving alignment across multiple functions.
  • Familiarity with SQL, cloud-based data platforms (e.g. Snowflake) and visualisation tools such as Tableau, with the ability to review analytical work and collaborate effectively with Central Analytics teams.
  • Experience building and scaling high-performing analytical teams and setting high quality standards.
  • Excellent structured thinking and communication skills, with the ability to translate complex analysis into clear business insight.
  • Deep understanding of business performance drivers, forecasting concepts, and KPI frameworks
  • Exposure to affiliate, SEO, or performance marketing-led business models
