We are a maritime security intelligence company that combines real-time data analytics with operational expertise to protect vessels, crews, and cargo across the world’s highest-risk trade routes. Our Digital CSO platform delivers continuous voyage oversight from planning through to safe arrival, covering fleet monitoring, threat intelligence, transit security, SSAS management, and insurance optimisation through a single subscription.
Our offering goes beyond static reporting. By continuously analysing live AIS streams, weather patterns, and thousands of data points, we calculate an accurate, dynamic loss probability for every voyage and vessel. This translates directly into reduced war risk premiums for our clients, often saving multiples of their subscription cost on a single transit.
Our clients include some of the world’s largest ship managers, container lines, tanker operators, commodity traders, and marine insurers. We operate globally from offices in the UK, Dubai, Athens, and Singapore, with a 24/7 Maritime Assistance Centre and an in-house intelligence team sourcing from open, closed, and proprietary data in multiple languages.

The Role
As a Senior Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle—from initial engagement through to closing deals. You’ll work closely with ship managers, fleet operators, commodity traders, and marine insurers, building long-term partnerships in a relationship-driven industry.
You will:
- Manage end-to-end sales cycles with mid-market and enterprise clients
- Lead structured discovery conversations and tailored solution presentations
- Collaborate with technical and intelligence teams on demos and proposals
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline through outbound and inbound efforts
- Represent Vanguard Tech at industry events and client meetings
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of B2B SaaS or subscription sales experience
- Consistently meeting or exceeding quota
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Experience selling into maritime, shipping, logistics, insurance, commodities or risk management.
- Confidence engaging senior stakeholders (C-suite, CSOs, DPAs, fleet leadership)
- Familiarity with structured sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC, SPIN, Challenger or equivalent)
- Willingness to travel for client meeting and industry events (approx. 30–40% travel)
Nice to Have
- Direct experience in maritime or shipping industry, whether in security, marine insurance, or vessel operations
- Existing industry network
- Experience in scaling or early-stage environments
- Additional languages is a plus (Greek, Arabic, Japanese, Mandarin)
