Job Title User Experience Design Coordinator (fluent German and English speaker), Senior AssociateAs a User Experience Design Coordinator, Senior Associate, you will report to the Web Content Lead and play a key role in supporting Vanguard’s European digital presence. You will bring web content, UX, localisation and digital best-practice expertise to help maintain, optimise and evolve our public-facing websites across European markets. Working closely with internal stakeholders, marketing teams, UX, product owners and external partners, you will support the planning, build, QA, optimisation and ongoing development of website experiences that meet business, marketing and user needs.Key responsibilitiesWebsite content management and deliveryMaintain and update content across Vanguard’s European public-facing websites, ensuring accuracy, consistency and alignment with brand guidelinesManage the build and implementation of web pages, landing pages and campaign content using enterprise content management systems, incorporating imagery, video, forms and other digital content requirementsManage content-related tags, snippets and metadata to support article content, conversion tracking, lead scoring, personalisation and A/B testing initiativesUX, optimisation and quality assuranceIdentify opportunities to improve website journeys, content presentation and user experience across European marketsComplete QA checks for new and updated website content, landing pages and site enhancements, ensuring issues are identified, tracked and resolvedWork with accessibility specialists and QA tools to identify and remedy content-related accessibility issues, such as missing alt text or broken linksStakeholder collaboration and project supportCollaborate with channel marketing, UX, digital marketing, production, editorial, product owners and external vendors to deliver website requirements for campaigns, projects and business initiativesOperate as the website subject matter expert, guiding and advising internal customer on digital best practices as appropriateSupport sprint ceremonies and project delivery where content management activity forms part of larger digital initiativesDraft clear requirements for website bugs, enhancements and new features, working with product owners to support prioritisationAnalytics, SEO and continuous improvementUse analytics and website QA tools to generate reports, identify optimisation opportunities and support recommendations.Support SEO improvements in partnership with internal teams and external vendorsStay informed about digital, UX, accessibility and content management trends, recommending relevant opportunities for improvementExplore and support the responsible adoption of AI-enabled tools and automation to improve content quality, QA processed, reporting, SEO optimisation and operational efficiency across European web content workflowsSkillsFluent written and spoken English and German with the ability to review, interpret and support German-language web contentStrong understanding of linguistic, cultural and market-specific considerations when managing content across European websitesInterest in AI, automation and emerging digital tools, with a willingness to explore how they can improve web content quality, efficiency and user experienceGood knowledge of HTML and experience using popular enterprise level content management systems (preferably Adobe Experience Manager)Good understanding of Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)Strong communication and organisational skillsStrong sense of ownershipRelationship managementAttention to detailAbility to multi-task and ability to meet demanding deadlines in a fast-paced environmentIdeally, familiarity with Agile project managementExperience using collaboration tools, preferably Jira, Workfront and ConfluenceBasic understanding of website accessibilityExperience using SEO and website QA tools, preferably BrightEdge and SiteimproveExperience in the Financial services/asset management industry.Strong understanding of the cultural, linguistic and regulatory implications of operating across marketsConfident team player with a passion for all things digitalQualificationsUndergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience in a creative or technical fieldPrevious experience in a similar roleInclusion StatementVanguard’s continued dedication to diversity and inclusion is firmly rooted in our culture.
