Head of FP&A

My well established SaaS client seeks a commercially astute, resilient, and people‐focused Head of FP&A to join their successful and growing business.

This role would be ideal for an experienced FP&A Manager or Financial Controller ready to step up.

What you’ll be doing

• Reporting to the Finance Director, you will be leading the FP&A function, delivering forecasting, budgeting, and strategic financial insight
• Partnering closely with senior leadership to drive commercial decision‐making
• Developing and mentoring a high‐performing team
• Enhancing financial processes, reporting frameworks, and planning cycles
• Owning SaaS metrics, pricing analysis, scenario modelling, and investment cases
• Leveraging BI and planning tools to elevate reporting, automation, and data‐driven insight
• Playing a key role in a transforming environment, bringing clarity, challenge, and commercial rigour

Qualifications and experience

• Chartered or fully qualified accountant ( IACEW / ACCA / CIMA) – essential
• Strong FP&A experience, ideally within SaaS or subscription‐based models
• Proven experience with BI and planning tools (e.g., dashboards, modelling platforms, data visualisation)
• A resilient, solutions‐oriented mindset with the ability to thrive in change
• Strong commercial acumen and the confidence to influence senior stakeholders
• Experience managing and developing people
• Sage X3/ERP experience or background highly regarded
• Someone hands‐on, analytical, and comfortable operating close to the numbers
