BMS Project Manager
Location: Knutsford / Warrington, Cheshire
Salary: £55,000-£65,000 + package (PERMANENT)
We're working with a growing BMS and controls business that is expanding its presence across the North. They're looking for an experienced BMS Project Manager to join the team and play a key role in delivering projects while helping develop their Northern operation.
This is a genuine long-term opportunity for someone ambitious. As the Northern business grows, the role has the potential to progress into running the division, with a clear pathway towards a Divisional Director position.
The Role
You'll be responsible for managing BMS projects from design and engineering through to installation, commissioning and handover.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing BMS projects from inception through to completion.
- Managing programmes, budgets and project deliverables.
- Coordinating engineers, subcontractors and installation teams.
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients.
- Overseeing BMS design, software, graphics and engineering activities.
- Managing project documentation, specifications and O&M information.
- Supporting commissioning and handover.
- Building strong client relationships and identifying further opportunities.
- Working closely with senior management to support the growth of the Northern division.
About You
- Proven experience managing BMS/BEMS projects.
- Strong understanding of BMS controls, HVAC and associated systems.
- Experience managing projects through to commissioning and handover.
- Strong client-facing and communication skills.
- Able to manage engineers, subcontractors and project teams.
- Commercially aware and highly organised.
- Ambitious and keen to progress into a senior leadership role.
