Commissioning Engineer

Job Title: Commissioning Engineer (Tridium Systems)
Contract Duration: Approximately 3-months
Location: Romford- On-site - Church building (near completion, not an active construction site)
Rate: 350 per day (approx.)

Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Commissioning Engineer for a short-term contract focused on delivering and commissioning software solutions within a Tridium-based system. The role will involve both software development and on-site commissioning in a nearly completed building environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement software for Tridium systems
• Commission software on-site to ensure correct operation and performance
• Carry out system testing, fault finding, and optimisation
• Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery
• Undertake minor graphics work where required

Scope of Work

• Panel drawings and operation descriptions are already completed
• Primary focus is on software creation and commissioning
• Work will be conducted in a completed indoor environment (church), not a live construction site

Requirements

• Proven experience working with Tridium systems (e.g., Niagara)
• Strong background in commissioning and BMS software development
• Ability to work independently and deliver within a short timeframe
• Good problem-solving and diagnostic skills
• Availability for the full contract duration
• Writing software from scratch
