Job Title: Firmware Engineer

Rate: £50-60 an hour

Join an innovative team developing cutting-edge wearable technology for real-time performance tracking. This role focuses on designing, implementing, and optimising embedded firmware for devices that deliver precise and reliable performance in demanding environments.

• Develop and maintain firmware for wearable tracking devices.

• Collaborate with hardware and software teams to integrate and test systems.

• Optimize firmware for power efficiency and high performance.

• Work with communication protocols (e.g., BLE, Wi-Fi) for data transfer.

• Debug, profile, and test firmware using industry-standard tools.

• Proficiency in C/C++ for embedded systems.

• Experience with microcontrollers and peripheral programming (SPI, I2C, UART).

• Knowledge of real-time operating systems (RTOS) or bare-metal programming.

• Familiarity with wireless communication protocols (e.g., BLE, Wi-Fi).

• Experience on a wearable device project

• Low-power firmware design for wearables.

• Experience with sensor data processing and fusion.

• Background in sports technology or real-time systems.
