Full Stack Developer

Position: Junior Full Stack Developer

Location: Nottingham (hybrid)

Salary: £30 - £35,000

A leading supplier of equipment to the automotive industry is creating an industry-first application, incorporating the latest tech. They have several pieces of software used by their three businesses consisting of of internal applications, such as dashboards used for reporting and operations, and public websites responsible for marketing our products and services.

Right now, it is an exciting opportunity to join, given that they are:

• Creating an industry-first application using the latest tech
• Incorporating TypeScript into their applications
• Modernising our codebases
• The successful candidate will be joining a lean development team working on a tool never before seen in the industry.
• Their UI/UX design team will provide the necessary prototypes and assets required to create this application using the latest in web development technology.
• The plan moving forward is to modernise all their existing applications in line with the greenfield project, creating a harmonious and cohesive set of applications that are a joy for our users to use and robust enough for our developers to make changes efficiently.

The right candidate for this role is a developer who has over a year commercial experience in a similar Full Stack Developer position. They want someone who is comfortable creating UIs, APIs and database queries and experience in the following tech:

Essential:

• JavaScript (ES6+)
• TypeScript
• React or Vue -
• SQL
• JSON
• Version Control (Git ideally)

Desirable:

• REST
• Tailwind CSS
• Node.js
• PHP (Laravel/Yii) - Desirable
• Craft CMS
