Senior System Verification Engineer – Audio & Connected Devices

We're looking for a Senior System Verification Engineer to lead verification efforts across cutting-edge audio and video products. In this role, you'll ensure integrated solutions meet the highest standards of quality, interoperability, and performance. This is a 6-month contract based in Edinburgh. Rate: £60 - £70ph - outside IR35

Responsibilities

• Drive system-level verification for advanced audio communication products.
• Design and execute comprehensive test plans and cases for complex ecosystems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate innovative testing strategies.
• Utilize state-of-the-art lab tools to validate hardware/software interoperability.
• Provide technical leadership and ensure timely, high-quality outcomes.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues in live environments.

Requirements

• Extensive and proven recent and relevant experience in system testing, quality engineering, or related technical fields.
• Solid expertise in identifying customer-impacting defects, and advanced knowledge of software and hardware interoperability issues and solutions.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, Electronics or a related field. A master's degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
• In-depth understanding of architectures, protocols, and integrations within Audio Electronics / Communications
• Hands-on experience with C, C++, Python, and scripting for automation.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and clear communication.
