This is a pivotal role offering the chance to deliver high-accuracy subsurface mapping and integrate utility data seamlessly with wider topographical surveys.
The Opportunity: You will play a vital role in executing accurate underground utility surveys to PAS 128 standards. Your day-to-day remit involves:
- Executing comprehensive subsurface investigations using Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) and Electromagnetic Location (EML) equipment.
- Post-processing field data and collaborating with topographical and CAD teams to produce integrated utility maps.
- Conducting detailed site reconnaissance, utility mark-outs, and pre-survey risk assessments.
- Ensuring all field deliverables strictly adhere to industry safety standards and client specifications.
- £35,000 per annum + fully expensed company vehicle.

Technical Essentials: To be successful, you must demonstrate high-level technical proficiency:
- Mandatory: Valid CSCS Card and extensive practical experience in utility mapping (ProQual Level 3 advantageous but not essential).
- Compliance/Systems: Deep understanding of PAS 128 guidelines and proficiency with standard surveying hardware (e.g., Radiodetection, Leica GPR).
- Experience: Proven field track record in locating and tracing underground services across commercial, residential, or infrastructure sites.
- Mobility: Full UK Driving Licence with the flexibility for regional site travel.
