Solutions Architect

** Please note this contract is inside of IR35 **

Our client is looking for a Solutions Architect to provide continuity across a portfolio of live transformation projects. You will govern solution design and ensure delivery aligns to cloud-first architecture standards, working across HR, data, and platform teams. This role is focused on stabilisation, oversight, and structured handover ahead of a permanent replacement.

Responsibilities

• Govern and review solution designs across multiple live projects, ensuring alignment to enterprise standards
• Provide architectural oversight for a HR migration to Dayforce
• Guide the design and implementation of cloud landing zones and security architecture in Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud Platform
• Oversee data platform enhancements leveraging Google BigQuery, Dataproc, Databricks, and Tableau
• Ensure architectural decisions are consistent, documented, and aligned to business outcomes
• Act as a point of escalation for design-related issues across delivery teams
• Provide light-touch leadership and direction to engineers and architects within a contractor-led delivery model
• Support knowledge transfer and structured handover from the outgoing Architect
