Engineering Manager

Velocity Tech have partnered with an exciting AI company who are hiring for a Data Platform Manager to come in and manage a team of 6 talented Engineers.

The ideal profile will need the following experience:

• 2+ years of experience leading and mentoring a technical team, managing projects, aligning with business needs, and collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
• Apache Spark or Apache Flink experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, building, and optimising scalable and highly available backend systems.
• Strong ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments and adapt quickly to shifting demands and specifications.
• Experience designing and building data-intensive architecture.
• Experience managing payloads running on a major cloud provider.

The client can pay up to £120,000 + benefits.
