Production Process Apprentice
This role has dual aspects - understanding manufacturing, contributing to assembly, tooling & manufacture of rooflight products to support production. The other aspect is learning key manufacturing systems - ERP system, processing jobs, allocating workload & administration across production, purchasing & logistics.
Role
- Spend time within the production department to develop into a competent and multi-skilled operator.
- Support the assembly, tooling, and manufacture of rooflight products in line with quality and production standards.
- Gain a thorough understanding of the end-to-end manufacturing process and how products are produced.
- Assist with daily production activities to ensure workflow and operational targets are met.
- Maintain a safe and organised working environment, adhering to company health and safety procedures.
- Learn and understand the systems and processes that support manufacturing operations.
- Develop working knowledge of the BC14 ERP system and its role within the business.
- Support the processing and administration of production jobs within BC14.
- Assist with workload planning and allocation activities to support production efficiency.
- Help maintain accurate production and system records.
- Work closely with both production and office-based teams to support the smooth running of manufacturing operations.
- Undertake training and continuous development to build knowledge across both operational and administrative functions.
Training
Possibility of full-time employment following the successful completion of the apprenticeship.

- Working Week
- Monday to Thursday, 08:00 - 17:00, with 30 minutes unpaid lunch break and two 15 minute unpaid breaks. Friday 08:00 - 12:00, with 1 paid 15 minute break.
