Job Title: Account Executive – Sustainability SaaS

Salary: £90,000 + double OTE

Location: London (Hybrid)

The Opportunity

This sustainability technology business is growing fast and looking for an exceptional Account Executive to own and drive new business in the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) space. You’ll be in the room with senior decision‐makers — Heads of Sustainability, CFOs, investment leaders — helping them turn ESG pressures and ambitions into clear, measurable commercial value.

This is a role where you’ll run proper, strategic sales cycles, have a real voice in how things are done, and see your work translate directly into how major organisations measure and manage their impact.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Running full‐cycle enterprise sales from first conversation through to close.
  • Owning deals in the £25K–£80K+ range with 4–12 month cycles that involve multiple stakeholders and high‐stakes decisions.
  • Partnering closely with marketing for high‐quality lead flow while self‐generating around half of your own pipeline.
  • Building commercial cases that resonate at board level and closing complex, multi‐stakeholder deals.
  • Engaging directly with sustainability and financial leaders across global markets, bringing insight and challenge to every conversation.

What You’ll Bring

  • 4+ years of SaaS or enterprise sales experience, ideally in a founder‐led or growth‐stage environment.
  • A track record of success in consultative, complex sales where you’ve had to navigate multiple stakeholders and longer cycles.
  • Strong presence and credibility, with the confidence to challenge and advise senior executives rather than just “take orders”.
  • Genuine curiosity, resilience, and a real interest in mastering the ESG and sustainability landscape — not just learning a script.
