Salary: £40,000 - £45,000 base + £20,000 OTE

Location: London (Hybrid, 2 days in office)

The Opportunity

This sustainability technology business is scaling fast and looking for an SDR to drive new business in the ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) space.

A fast-growing sustainability software company is seeking a proactive Sales Development Representative to drive top-of-funnel growth across the UK, Europe, and the US. This is a front-line commercial role where you’ll identify, engage, and qualify senior stakeholders — becoming the crucial link between market demand and high-value enterprise sales.

You’ll represent innovative sustainability technology in conversations with Heads of Sustainability, CFOs, private equity investors, and corporate executives — shaping how organisations approach ESG strategically.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Generate pipeline through targeted outbound outreach, personalised messaging, phone calls, social outreach, and event-based networking.
  • Qualify prospects and book discovery meetings that progress into high-value enterprise sales cycles.
  • Support long, complex sales motions , handing over well-qualified opportunities to Account Executives with strong insight and context.
  • Identify and prioritise target accounts , including private equity, fund managers, and corporate sustainability leaders.
  • Attend industry conferences, executive breakfasts, and dinners to build in-person relationships and uncover new opportunities.

What You’ll Bring

  • 1–3 years of SDR/BDR or inside sales experience, ideally in B2B tech or SaaS. High-potential candidates without SaaS experience may also be considered.
  • Strong interest in sustainability, ESG, or B2B technology .
  • Confidence engaging C-level and senior stakeholders .
  • Competitive, curious, adaptable, and persistent — with a strong sense of initiative and willingness to be coached.
  • Organised, credible, and comfortable representing the product externally, including at events and industry gatherings.
