About the Opportunity
We are working with a fast-growing fintech SaaS company that helps banks and payment institutions manage fraud recovery, dispute management, chargebacks, and card scheme compliance across the Visa and Mastercard ecosystems.
The platform is used by Tier 1 banks and regulated financial institutions to reduce fraud losses, streamline disputes, and stay compliant with evolving scheme rules.
This is a high-performance, startup environment where ownership, initiative, and strategic enterprise selling are essential.
The Role
This is a senior, enterprise-focused Individual Contributor role selling a mission-critical SaaS platform into Tier 1 banks and large financial institutions.
You will own the full sales cycle — from pipeline generation through to closing and expansion — managing long, complex enterprise deals with multiple senior stakeholders across fraud, compliance, operations, payments, and technology.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Growth
- Own and drive the full enterprise sales cycle from prospecting to close
- Build and execute strategic account plans targeting Tier 1 banks
- Sell complex, high-value SaaS deals (£250k+ ACV) with 12–18 month sales cycles
- Consistently deliver against an annual FYOV target of ~£800k
Pipeline Development
- Self-generate pipeline through outbound activity, strategic networking, and partners
- Engage senior stakeholders across fraud, disputes, compliance, payments, and exec leadership
- Work closely with consulting and implementation partners to progress opportunities
Stakeholder Management
- Lead complex sales processes involving multiple buying committees
- Build compelling business cases and ROI narratives for C-level and board-level audiences
- Navigate procurement, legal, compliance, and vendor onboarding within large banks
Market & Product Expertise
- Act as a subject-matter expert in fraud recovery, dispute management, and chargebacks
- Demonstrate strong understanding of Visa & Mastercard rules and operating models
- Feed market insights back into Product and Customer teams to support enterprise deployments
Required Experience
- Proven experience selling enterprise SaaS in payments, cards, fraud, disputes, or compliance
- Strong exposure to Visa and/or Mastercard (directly or via partner ecosystems)
- Track record of selling into Tier 1 banks or large regulated financial institutions
- Experience closing £250k+ ACV deals with long, complex sales cycles
- Demonstrated ability to self-generate pipeline (not reliant on inbound)
- Experience working with consulting or implementation partners
- Strong senior stakeholder management and executive-level presentation skills
Profile We’re Looking For
- Hunter-style enterprise seller
- Thrives in startup environments with autonomy and ambiguity
- Commercially sharp and strategically minded
- Confident leading value-based, challenger-style sales conversations
- Not a “take-orders” salesperson — this role requires initiative, resilience, and creativity
