Network Engineer

Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Dumfries, is currently looking to recruit a Network Engineer for an initial 2 month contract with potential to extend on a rate of £400-£450/day (Inside IR35). This role will be hybrid working.

Essential Skills:

- Significant proven experience in designing, implementing and supporting enterprise network environments (including routing, switching, firewalls and cloud connectivity), with strong troubleshooting, analytical and stakeholder engagement skills, and a demonstrable track record of maintaining secure, resilient and high‐performing networks in complex, service‐critical environments.

- Troubleshooting at enterprise level, across network infrastructure and application.

Desirable Skills:

- CISCO certification.

- SDWAN/VPN knowledge and experience.

- Experience in managing and troubleshooting Wireless networks.
