Senior Delivery & Operations Manager (Maternity Cover)
Venn Apps is looking for a proactive, battle-tested Senior Delivery & Operations Manager to step into a key leadership seat during a maternity leave. This role is the heartbeat of our delivery engine - you’ll be responsible for orchestrating smooth workflows across our client launches, existing accounts, and internal product roadmap. We need a master of organization who can bridge the gap between vision and execution, ensuring we hit every milestone without ever compromising on quality.
Delivery & Execution
- Ensure all app deliveries are completed in scope, on time, and to agreed quality standards
- Facilitate and prioritise ongoing work for live apps and take corrective action where needed in collaboration with the Account Management team
- Manage delivery of the product roadmap (execution, not strategy), while ensuring organisation and management of delivery of the quarterly client roadmap
- Run end-user QA in collaboration with the implementation team
- Run a smooth handover of new clients to the Account Management team
- Provide support to Delivery team on adhoc tasks where necessary
Client Management
- Lead client-facing meetings to provide updates, gather requirements, resolve blockers and plan launch
- Proactively obtain necessary information and assets from clients to allow the team to complete work
- Work collaboratively with the Account Management teams to ensure client expectations are managed and all ongoing work is prioritised and delivered in a timely manner.
- Onboard clients on Venn Apps’s tooling
Resource & Team Management
- Allocate resources across design, implementation, and engineering teams to balance workload and meet deadlines
- Organise and lead team rituals (stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, 1-1 etc.)
- Support a working environment that is collaborative, positive, and high-performing
Process & Operations
- Ensure all delivery processes are repeatable, scalable, and efficient
- Continuously improve processes to remove friction and improve predictability
- Identify delivery risks early and take action to mitigate them
- Management of implementation rotations between service and app development
Key Expectations
- Projects and roadmap items are delivered consistently on time and within scope
- Clients, both new and existing, have confidence in Venn Apps’ delivery capability
- Internal teams are clear on priorities, properly resourced, and working effectively
- Processes are documented, understood, and consistently applied. Processes are also constantly evolving with input/buy in from leaders of other teams within the business.
- Be able to collaborate with key stakeholders in different teams, both internally and externally, in a professional manner at all times
- The delivery culture is positive: collaborative, professional, and high energy at all times.
- Build a rapport with the sales team and help build a process to ensure scoping is carried out in a way that both helps sales close deals and also improves the smoothness of project delivery.
Skills & Attributes Required

- Seasoned professional with minimum 8 years of experience in clients facing role in Project/Programme Management
- Start-up mindset with the ability to juggle between hands-on and management tasks
- Proficient in JIRA admin, Figma, QA methodology, G-Suite, Notion, Generative AI for documentation tooling
- High business ethics standards
- Handover with the Role holder programmed pre and after the interim period
