Asset Data Manager – Social Housing – Interim – £425 to £550 per day – Ref: INDSOH

National - 100% Remote

We are recruiting for an experienced Asset Data Manager to join a Social Housing organisation on an interim basis. This Asset Data Manager role is a key hire to support the review, scoring and evaluation of a live tender for a new Asset Management Database, followed by full system implementation and transition.

If you are a hands on Asset Data Manager with strong asset data and system experience, this is a high impact role.

This Asset Data Manager position will work closely with senior leadership, playing a vital role in selecting a new asset data system and leading the transition from the current platform to a new solution.

The role

As Asset Data Manager, you will lead on asset data governance, system improvement and database implementation across housing stock. The Asset Data Manager will be heavily involved in the tender process, reviewing submissions, scoring providers and supporting the selection of the new system.

Following selection, the Asset Data Manager will lead the transition from the existing asset data software to the new platform, ensuring data is clean, mapped correctly and fully usable across the business.

This is not an IT project role. The Asset Data Manager must bring strong Social Housing asset experience, combining strategic decision making with hands on data work.

Key Responsibilities for the Asset Data Manager role

• Support and lead the review, scoring and evaluation of asset database tender submissions

• Work with stakeholders to select the most suitable asset management system

• Lead the transition from current asset data software to new system

• Carry out data cleansing, mapping and migration across systems

• Conduct system testing and validation to ensure accuracy and functionality

• Manage asset data governance, integrity and reporting across housing systems

• Analyse stock condition, compliance and investment data to support decision making

• Ensure compliance with housing standards including Decent Homes and energy requirements

• Provide reporting and insight to senior leadership

About you

• Proven experience working as an Asset Data Manager within Social Housing is essential due to knowledge of property life cycles, and complexities such as HHSRS etc.

• Strong experience with Asset Management Systems and database implementation

• Experience in tender evaluation, procurement or system selection processes

• Strong data analysis, data mapping and data cleansing skills

• Understanding of housing asset data including stock condition and compliance

• Able to operate both strategically and hands on
