Rate: £500 per day, inside IR35 umbrella

Duration: 3-6 months initially

Hybrid working: 2-3 days onsite, flexible

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced ContrOCC specialist with strong technical and configuration expertise to support the optimisation and ongoing development of a ContrOCC environment within Children’s Services.

This is a hands-on systems role focused on configuration, workflow alignment and payment process optimisation. The successful candidate will work closely with operational teams, finance colleagues and Liquidlogic specialists to ensure the system is functioning effectively and aligned to operational and statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead on the design, configuration and optimisation of the ContrOCC system

• Configure and maintain payment processes linked to Children in Care workflows and financial requirements

• Review current system configurations and identify gaps, risks and inefficiencies

• Implement system improvements aligned to operational and statutory requirements

• Work closely with Liquidlogic colleagues, finance teams and operational managers

• Ensure ContrOCC aligns effectively with LCS workflows and operational processes

• Support system accuracy, compliance and reporting functionality

• Troubleshoot configuration issues and provide technical system expertise

Key Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience configuring and supporting ContrOCC systems

• Experience working within Children’s Services and/or social care environments

• Strong understanding of Liquidlogic Children’s System (LCS) workflows

• Experience configuring payment processes and financial workflows

• Ability to identify and resolve system and configuration issues independently

• Strong stakeholder engagement skills across operational and technical teams

• Experience working within local authority environments is highly desirable
