HR Systems Officer

Venn Group is delighted to partner with a highly respected charity to recruit an experienced HR Systems Officer for an exciting systems implementation project.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR professional with strong systems experience to play a pivotal role in the rollout of the organisation’s new PeopleFirst HRIS. You will work closely with internal stakeholders, external suppliers, and the wider HR team to ensure a smooth, efficient and successful implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate key elements of the PeopleFirst system implementation, ensuring milestones, timelines and project outcomes are delivered effectively
• Support system configuration activities, working with vendors and HR colleagues to tailor functionality to organisational needs
• Oversee data migration activities, including cleansing, validating and transferring employee data
• Develop and coordinate user training materials, such as guides, FAQs and process documentation
• Provide generalist HR support, including assisting with payroll processes and responding to employee queries
• Act as a point of contact for HR system–related issues throughout the implementation phase

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Experience supporting or delivering an HR system implementation, ideally including exposure to PeopleFirst
• Strong HR systems knowledge and confidence handling data migration tasks
• Background working within the charity or not-for-profit sector (highly desirable)
• Ability to start at short notice and commit to a part-time contract
• A proactive, organised and collaborative working style

Contract Type: 3-month initial interim contract

Rate: £150 – £200 per day

Working Hours: Part-time, 3–4 days per week

Working Pattern: Hybrid (office and remote working)
