Infrastructure Engineer
We're recruiting on behalf of a large NHS organisation for an experienced IM&T Operations Engineer to join their infrastructure team and play a key role in supporting critical healthcare technology services.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled 3rd Line Infrastructure Engineer with strong server, storage and cloud experience to work within a complex, mission-critical environment supporting thousands of users and clinical services.
Key Responsibilities- Provide 3rd line support for server, storage, cloud and infrastructure technologies
- Manage and resolve complex technical incidents and escalations
- Maintain and optimise server, SAN, backup and cloud environments
- Support infrastructure security, availability and performance
- Design, install and configure new infrastructure solutions
- Contribute to infrastructure and digital transformation projects
- Ensure data protection, backup and recovery processes are maintained
- Produce technical documentation and provide guidance to wider IT teams
