Security Operations Center Analyst

SOC Business Analyst – Utilities - £400p/d (Inside of IR35) - 3 Months (Rolling)

Client: Southern Water

Location: Worthing (2 days per week onsite)

Rate: £400 per day (Inside IR35)

We are seeking an experienced SOC Business Analyst to support the continued evolution of a Security Operations Centre within a leading utilities organisation.

This is a fantastic opportunity to operate at the intersection of cybersecurity, operational technology (OT), and business transformation, playing a key role in strengthening security capabilities across a critical national infrastructure environment.

You will be instrumental in enhancing visibility, defining business and technical requirements, and driving security-focused change across systems, networks, and processes.

Key Responsibilities & Experience:

• Proven experience as a Business Analyst within cybersecurity or IT environments
• Exposure to Security Operations Centre (SOC) environments or security operations
• Experience working within regulated industries (e.g. utilities, water, energy)
• Understanding of Operational Technology (OT) environments
• Knowledge of governance, risk, and compliance frameworks
• Solid understanding of network infrastructure
• Experience working with asset and application inventories
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
