Technical Architect (SC Cleared)

• Occasional Travel to South London
• Inside IR35
• £600-650 per day

We are looking for an experienced Technical Architect with a strong background in application and API architecture to support a major programme within a secure environment. This role requires proven experience across large-scale delivery, multi-cloud technologies, and senior stakeholder engagement.

Key Requirements

• Active SC Clearance (mandatory)
• Strong experience in application architecture and API design/integration
• Commercial experience in an AWS environment , with exposure to Azure components
• Background working on large, complex projects
• Experience supporting or leading procurement activities
• Strong communication and presentation skills
• Proven track record as an experienced technical architect
• Excellent stakeholder management skills

Responsibilities

• Lead and define application and API architecture across a multi-cloud landscape (AWS plus Azure elements)
• Provide technical leadership and assurance across large-scale workstreams
• Support procurement processes and ensure alignment with architectural standards
• Produce technical documentation and deliver clear presentations to stakeholders
• Collaborate with senior stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure architecture meets business and programme objectives
