Rate: £450 Per Day (Inside IR35)

Location: 1 Day per week in Leeds

Start Date: 2 Weeks

Duration: 5 Months Rolling

We're looking for an experienced, self-starting Business Analyst to join a high-profile national programme delivering a new identity verification service for one of the UK's largest public sector workforces.

\n

\n

You'll work across two workstreams, reporting into the Product and Delivery leads, helping shape a service that underpins workforce onboarding, identity assurance and access to critical systems. This is a complex, multi-supplier environment — ideal for a BA who is inquisitive, collaborative and comfortable operating with ambiguity.

What you'll be doing:

\n

    \n
  • Eliciting, analysing and documenting business requirements from stakeholders, suppliers and operational teams
  • \n

  • Mapping current and future state processes across identity verification, pre-employment checks, onboarding and workforce access management
  • \n

  • Producing business requirements, business rules, user stories, process maps and acceptance criteria
  • \n

  • Working closely with User Centred Design, Product and Delivery to shape well-defined Jira tickets and support backlog prioritisation
  • \n

  • Supporting procurement, supplier engagement, solution evaluation and service implementation
  • \n

  • Facilitating workshops across HR, identity management, cyber security and clinical communities
  • \n

  • Identifying business impacts, risks, dependencies and improvement opportunities, leading or supporting options analysis
  • \n

  • Supporting testing, UAT and transition into live service
  • \n

  • Ensuring solutions align with government identity assurance standards and wider IAM objectives

What we're looking for:

\n

    \n
  • Proven business analysis experience within digital transformation, identity and access management, workforce services or large public sector programmes
  • \n

  • Strong requirements engineering, business/process modelling and stakeholder relationship management skills
  • \n

  • Experience working with architects, developers, multiple suppliers and complex stakeholder groups
  • \n

  • Desirable: knowledge of identity verification standards, onboarding processes or workforce identity assurance services
  • \n

  • Desirable: experience of data modelling and/or business architecture
