Hours: 40 hours per week. Monday - Friday

Programme Duration: 2-year programme, starting on 2 September 2026

Graduate Programme;

During this 2-year programme, you'll work as a technical liaison for Operational Technology (OT) services across Industrial Waste & Energy (IWE). You'll support the identification and implementation of improvements to our OT systems, learn how to integrate DB&T systems with OT infrastructure, and help ensure the stability and reliability of customer solutions.

You'll gain hands-on experience investigating new OT solutions, working with experienced mentors, and developing your technical expertise. You'll also join our graduate network and receive continued support throughout your development.

What you'll be doing;

- Support technical liaison activities for Operational Technology services across IWE sites

- Assist in identifying improvements to Operational Technology systems and offerings

- Help develop solutions that integrate DB&T systems with Operational Technology infrastructure

- Support the delivery of reliable and stable customer solutions

- Investigate new and emerging Operational Technology technologies and solutions

- Liaise with site staff, contractors, and internal teams on project delivery

- Communicate technical information clearly to operational staff and stakeholders

- Assist with training and documentation for Operational Technology systems and platforms

- Support new tenders and mobilisation processes

- Demonstrate strong health and safety awareness in all activities

What we're looking for;

Essential:

  • Degree in Engineering discipline (ideally Control & Instrumentation, Mechatronics, or similar) - to be achieved by September 2026)
  • UK Driving License
  • Health and safety awareness
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively
  • Willingness to learn technical systems and equipment
  • Demonstrate reliability and commitment to deadlines
  • Interest in Operational Technology engineering or the energy sector



Desirable:

  • Experience with or understanding of programming languages
  • Experience with Excel/Google Sheets
