PMO Senior Portfolio Analyst Location - Remote, with travel to the Manchester or London office once per monthSalary - Competitive Are you passionate about driving value through data, insight and strategic portfolio management We are looking for a PMO Senior Portfolio Analyst to join our Strategic Change team in a key role supporting business transformation through intelligent portfolio analysis, planning and reporting.About the Role As a Senior Portfolio Analyst, you will play a vital part in enabling informed decision making across our change portfolio. Reporting to the Portfolio Manager, you will maintain the single source of truth for all project and portfolio information, providing insight, challenge and assurance to ensure initiatives deliver against strategic goals.You will be the go to person for turning complex data into meaningful portfolio insights, supporting investment optimisation and ensuring robust governance across all programmes and projects.What You Will Do• Maintain accurate portfolio data including status, costs, plans and resources, providing clear visibility to stakeholders• Analyse and report on portfolio KPIs, identifying trends and making recommendations for improvement• Provide assurance on project and programme data to confirm progress towards strategic objectives and benefits• Support capacity planning and resource management to optimise portfolio delivery• Contribute to the continuous improvement of change frameworks and delivery standards• Work closely with Finance Business Partners to maintain consolidated portfolio budgets, tracking forecasts and actuals• Manage and report on portfolio risks, dependencies and key controls• Produce governance reports and presentations for senior leadership and steering forums About You You are detail oriented, analytical and confident working with large datasets to produce actionable insights. You will thrive in a change environment and have a proactive, collaborative approach to problem solving.Essential Experience and Skills• At least three years experience in portfolio analysis or PMO functions• Strong analytical skills and experience handling large volumes of data• Skilled in producing management and business intelligence reports and dashboards• A solid understanding of project and portfolio management frameworks and lifecycles• Experienced in portfolio planning, scheduling and resource management• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Technical Proficiency• Advanced Excel skills• Power BI for report creation and visualisation• PPM tooling experience• Microsoft Project Desirable• Experience with change frameworks and continuous improvement initiatives Our Culture We are a values driven organisation that believes in collaboration, transparency and continuous improvement.
