We’re now looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer to play a pivotal role in shaping, validating and delivering technically robust customer solutions across our portfolio.
The RoleThis is a senior, hands-on technical role sitting at the heart of Sales, Product, Engineering and our customers. You’ll act as a trusted technical authority – designing solutions, validating feasibility, supporting complex deployments and ensuring everything we deliver is scalable, compliant and commercially sound.
You’ll operate as a senior individual contributor, bringing structure, rigour and clarity to solution design and technical delivery.
What You’ll Be DoingSolution Design & Presales

Partnering with Sales and Account Management to technically qualify customer requirements

Designing end-to-end customer solutions, including device selection, configuration, platform setup and integrations

Supporting RFPs, RFQs and tenders with robust technical input

Producing clear solution designs, assumptions, risks and constraints

Supporting PoCs within agreed scope and governance
Product & Engineering Interface

Building deep knowledge of VisionTrack devices, firmware behaviour and platform capabilities

Translating customer requirements into clear technical inputs for Product and Engineering
-
Validating solutions against real-world vehicle, device and regulatory constraints
-
Identifying and escalating technical risks early
Post-Sales Technical Support

Supporting complex customer onboarding and early-phase deployments
-
Acting as a technical escalation point for critical (P1) issues

Creating and maintaining customer-facing technical documentation
Governance & Standards
-
Working within defined architectural standards and solution guardrails
-
Ensuring non-standard solutions and PoCs are reviewed and approved
-
Maintaining clear documentation and technical decision records
Essential experience
-
Proven experience as a Solutions Engineer, Applications Engineer, Presales Engineer or similar

Strong technical understanding of:

Vehicle telematics systems

Vehicle video / camera solutions
-
Connected devices and cloud platforms
-

Confident working with customers and senior internal stakeholders
Desirable

Experience with vehicle electrical systems (CAN, power, signals)

Exposure to IoT firmware and device configuration

Experience supporting PoCs or pilot deployments
-
Background in fleet, insurance or safety-led telematics environments

Understanding of commercial off-the-shelf hardware and electrical assembly

Strong technical reasoning and solution design capability
