Analytics Manager - Google Analytics

Senior Analytics Manager Manchester | 3 days in office, 2 days remote | Full-time Up to £70,000

THE OPPORTUNITY

We're recruiting on behalf of a fast-growing, dedicated analytics agency that helps clients weave data into the heart of their business strategies. Specialising in data collection, measurement, privacy and activation — primarily through the Google Marketing Platform — they work with a diverse portfolio of clients to deliver real, measurable impact.

This is a newly created senior role, joining as an early team member in an exciting scale-up environment. You'll work directly alongside two of the most experienced Google Marketing Platform practitioners in the UK, helping to shape the agency's future while delivering excellence across a broad client base. If you're a technically strong analytics professional ready to step into a role with genuine influence, this is a rare opportunity.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Partner with clients to define and develop their approach to measurement strategy
  • Complete analytics audits for new business meetings and deliver full GA4 configurations for clients
  • Work directly with client developers to design and implement dataLayer schemas
  • Implement and configure GA4 across a variety of tag management systems, including Google Tag Manager and Tealium
  • Own and manage client relationships, operating as a true partner rather than a supplier
  • Stay ahead of the latest industry trends, developments and innovations in the web analytics and data space
  • Take on line management responsibilities, leading and supporting a small delivery team

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • A minimum of 3 years' hands-on experience with Google Analytics 4, operating at expert level — this is essential
  • Strong working knowledge of Google Tag Manager — also essential
  • Broader experience across the Google Marketing Platform, including tools such as BigQuery, Looker Studio, DV360 and SA360
  • Proven track record delivering technically complex analytics projects across a range of industries
  • Comfortable working with relevant coding languages including JavaScript, jQuery, CSS, Python or HTML
  • Experience managing or mentoring a team
  • A self-starter mindset — passionate, curious and driven to deliver excellence for clients
  • Strong client relationship and communication skills

THE CULTURE

This is a team that puts clients first and moves fast. They're passionate, transparent and genuinely hungry to drive performance. As an early hire in a scale-up environment, your voice will be heard and your ideas embraced — this is a business that listens to its people and evolves quickly.

PACKAGE & BENEFITS

  • Up to £70,000 basic salary depending on experience
  • Hybrid working — 3 days in the Manchester office, 2 days from home
  • A close-knit, family-feel team culture
  • The chance to work with and learn from two of the UK's leading Google Marketing Platform experts
  • Real influence over the agency's direction and growth

HOW TO APPLY

If you're a technically strong analytics professional with expert-level GA4 and Google Tag Manager experience and you're ready for a senior role with real impact, we'd love to hear from you. Please apply with your CV and we'll be in touch.
