Senior Project Manager – Payroll Migration / DataHub Integration

Location: Hybrid (North East England preferred, near Doxford Park, Sunderland)

Contract: 6 months, Day Rate £550–£650, Inside IR35

Role Purpose

The Senior Project Manager will drive delivery of key workstreams in a Payroll Migration and DataHub Integration Programme. The role focuses on DataHub pipelines, integrations, documentation, QuickSight development, and rollout of kiosks for employee payslip access. Acting as a bridge between IT, business functions, and offshore teams, the role ensures alignment, clarity, and proactive risk management.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Delivery & Coordination: Track tasks, risks, issues, and dependencies; coordinate day-to-day delivery across workstreams; escalate blockers.
• Technical Support: Assist AWS DataHub, SnapLogic integrations, QuickSight development, and kiosk rollout; update LLDs and troubleshooting guides.
• Daily Coordination: Lead stand-ups, attend programme status meetings, report on defects, CRs, documentation, and rollout progress; drive IT collaboration.
• Offshore & Vendor Collaboration: Support developer activity plans, track resourcing, manage vendor SoWs, and facilitate cross-team collaboration.
• Operational Delivery: Coordinate kiosk build, configuration, shipment, and deployment; liaise with field engineers and track progress.
• Documentation & Knowledge Transfer: Ensure completion of LLDs, troubleshooting guides, and KT materials; facilitate KT sessions.
• Change Requests & IT Liaison: Raise and track CRs/SRs, unblock stalled requests, and liaise on technical delivery.
• Reporting & Governance: Provide weekly status updates, contribute to SteerCo packs, and maintain visibility of risks and dependencies.

Required Experience

Must-Have:

• Strong experience as a Project Manager / Senior PM for multi-team IT projects.
• Experience coordinating offshore developers and vendors.
• Clear communication of technical details to non-technical stakeholders.
• Strong governance discipline (RAID, reporting, escalation).
• Ability to manage multiple concurrent workstreams and foster collaboration across IT and business teams.

Nice-to-Have:

• AWS DataHub, ETL/ELT pipelines, SnapLogic integrations.
• QuickSight or BI development experience.
• Experience coordinating multi-site device rollouts.
