IT Infrastructure & Support Analyst (12-month FTC) – Leeds

We're working with a leading law firm to recruit an experienced IT Infrastructure & Support Analyst to join their Leeds-based IT team on a 12-month fixed-term contract.

With over 150 years of heritage and offices across London, Leeds, Birmingham, and Colchester, our client provides legal services throughout England and Wales to a broad client base ranging from multi-national corporations to private individuals, charities, housing associations, and Regulators. With around 350 employees and a growing international reach, they're embarking on a 24-month programme to transform how IT services are delivered across the firm.

The Role

This is a hybrid role combining 2nd line service desk support with hands-on infrastructure work. You'll be based onsite five days a week in Leeds, working alongside two IT colleagues, with occasional travel to the London and Birmingham offices for training and annual leave cover. Alongside BAU service delivery, you'll manage the full lifecycle of small infrastructure projects and upgrades, and participate in an out-of-hours on-call rota.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resolving 1st and 2nd line support tickets, deskside or remotely via RMM tool
  • Troubleshooting and supporting Microsoft 365 (Entra, Exchange Online, Intune, Teams), Windows 11, and MS Server 2019/2022
  • Building and profiling laptop endpoints and mobile devices, processing joiners and leavers
  • Administration of Cisco Meraki firewalls, switches, and Wi-Fi access points
  • Windows Server management including Active Directory and Group Policy
  • Supporting iManage (or equivalent DMS), Mimecast, Egress, Cisco DUO/Microsoft Authenticator MFA, Checkpoint Harmony SASE, Uniflow and FlowMatrix
  • Proactive infrastructure monitoring and documentation
  • Ensuring compliance with Cyber Essentials and ISO27001
  • Assisting with internal/external information security audits

What We're Looking For

  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar IT support role, preferably within a legal or professional services environment
  • Demonstrable experience delivering infrastructure projects
  • Strong knowledge of M365, Windows Server, and Meraki networking
  • Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
  • Strong communication skills and a service-orientated approach
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
  • Minimum 5 A-C grades at GCSE or equivalent

The Package

  • Salary: up to £45,000
  • 12-month fixed-term contract
  • Full-time, fully office-based in Leeds
  • Reporting to the Infrastructure Manager
  • Interview process: minimum two stages, with at least one in-person at the Leeds office
